Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, our team will transfer you to your hotel. Relax after your flight or take a short walk to explore the local coastal vibe and seaside dining.
After breakfast, fly to Kigoma on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Transfer to Kibirizi Port for a scenic boat ride to Gombe National Park. Afternoon guided forest hike to track chimpanzees and observe colobus monkeys.
Two immersive days in Gombe. Experience traditional fishing with locals on Lake Tanganyika and embark on multiple treks to observe chimpanzee behavior up close. Enjoy birdwatching, forest walks, and optional swimming in the crystal-clear lake waters.
Return to Kigoma to visit the Livingstone Museum before transferring to Katavi National Park. Spend a full day on extensive game drives in Katavi, searching for massive herds of buffalo, elephants, and lions in one of Africa's most remote parks.
Early breakfast followed by a transfer to Katavi Airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. Last-minute shopping before your international flight home.
